Betty Hunter (mum) passed away in glasgow royal infirmary on the 30th of november 2003. She was 63 and had retired after working for a few years as a cleaner although she had worked for many years with catering companies. Her last 25 years were spent living in cranhill although most people would remember her from living in Barlanark. Her children Alex, Wilma, Sharon, Bobby and myself (Liz) all miss her terribly as do her grandchildren and daughters in-law.
The night mum left us was the worst of my life, having to sit and watch her go was a nightmare for all of us. When we got to the hospital mum was still alert and could talk to us and we were all convinced that the hospital had got it wrong and she would still be with us the next day. Sadly just after 3 in the morning mum passed away and our hearts broke, i love you so much mum and pray that there is a heaven and i will see you again xxx

sometimes it seems like yesterday and at other times it seems a lifetime ago I last saw your face or heard your voice....I miss you everyday mum. Mandy's wee guy is goin to be here soon and it's gonna be hard without you, Alex and Dot here but we'll tell the wee guy all about you's...love you x x x x x x

the pain still hurts so much inside I wish that I was numb,
they say times a great healer but they dont have a clue,
coz time cant heal the broken heart I've had since I lost u,

It's my birthday
Hiya mum, my birthday is nearly over and i miss u so much. I've added a photo from my graduation, it was 5 yrs ago 2day (my 37th birthday). I've added some photo's of the kids 2. I really wish it was true that there is a heaven & we all meet up again someday but i'm a non believer since you'v gone mum coz if there was a god he wouldn't have taken so many of u away from us.
